The Carnavalito (English: Little Carnival) is a traditional South American dance from the Altiplano and Puna regions that is practiced in relation to religious festivities. Today it is still danced in Perú, in the eastern region of Bolivia, in the northwest zone of Argentina and in Northern Chile. In Argentina it is danced in the north of Jujuy and in center Salta.
